Outreach Ministries

Faith Ministries’ Outreach Ministries group is dedicated to serving both our congregation and the wider community through a variety of meaningful initiatives. Our outreach extends beyond spiritual care to environmental stewardship. We recognize the importance of caring for God’s creation and are actively involved in keeping our local area clean and beautiful.

Members of Faith Ministries regularly participate in efforts to keep State Road 46 free of litter and debris, demonstrating our concern for the environment and our desire to leave a healthy legacy for our children and grandchildren. This hands-on service is a practical expression of our faith and commitment to the well-being of our community.

Health and wellness are also central to our outreach mission. In partnership with the Art of Living, we host monthly free community yoga sessions, Financial Literacy workshops, and our monthly Community Feed for those in need.  To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from these valuable programs, we offer scholarships for those who wish to attend workshops.

Through these workshops, we provide education, support, and resources that empower individuals to make healthier choices, reflecting our holistic approach to ministry and care for our neighbors.

Faith Ministries Blessing Box Outreach:

Our outreach mission is to welcome and serve everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs. We’re partnering with local organizations, such as Love Chapel and the Bartholomew County Library, to address food insecurity in our community. Faith Ministry Garden

Our commitment to health and wellness includes our garden. Volunteers donate their time to work the garden and harvest the crops for the congregation.  Our temples need health and strength to serve God.  “Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.  And it was so.”

Faith Ministries provides a space for church members and community members to engage in gardening, promoting fellowship, and potentially providing food for those in need. We welcome community members to come pick a planter box and help us start a garden to feed.
